PROJETO

O projeto Nenhum a Menos se propõe a ser uma alternativa local que busca entender e atuar sobre as razões que levam crianças e adolescentes a abandonarem a escola, auxiliando os órgãos públicos na criação de uma rede de proteção e garantia deste direito.

O projeto teve sua primeira edição entre 2004 e 2008 e, com o crescimento demográfico e a necessidade de continuar trabalhando pelo direito à educação, em 2014 foi iniciada a segunda edição.

Ele surge da constatação do primeiro Censo Maré de que existiam no território mais de mil crianças e adolescentes fora da escola que, por diversas razões, abandonaram os estudos precocemente, muitas vezes sem aprender a ler. A partir do Censo Maré 2013, foi verificado que mais de 20 mil crianças (6 a 14 anos) têm o ensino fundamental incompleto.

 

Trabalho realizado sobre a cor da pele e uso de lápis de cor de pele preta e parda.

 

Atualmente, o projeto acontece na Lona Cultural Municipal Herbert Vianna, na Nova Maré, favela que apresenta os indicadores sociais mais desfavoráveis da região, de acordo com o Censo Maré 2013, e atende cerca de 50 crianças e adolescentes (de 7 a 12 anos). São desenvolvidas ações integradas que permitem o envolvimento, o compromisso e a confiança dos estudantes, bem como dos diferentes atores responsáveis pela permanência dos participantes nas escolas, como famílias, equipes escolares e rede de apoio social.

As ações se concentram na ressignificação do valor da educação formal para os estudantes e suas famílias, na sensibilização dos educadores para uma educação não excludente e na articulação dos serviços da rede de apoio social para apoiar as famílias na garantia do direito à educação.

Disseminando conhecimentos

 

 

Seguindo o compromisso de expandir de forma sistemática as ideias, práticas, metodologias e pesquisas, o projeto tem uma publicação sobre a experiência de inclusão escolar das crianças assistidas na época da primeira edição do Nenhum a Menos, na qual é possível compreender alguns fatores que contribuem para os problemas de infrequência e alfabetização em favelas e periferias.

Toda Menina na Escola

Em 2020, as meninas e mães do projeto também participaram da pesquisa Toda Menina na Escola, em parceria com o Fundo Malala, sobre os impactos da pandemia para este grupo na educação na Maré.

Etapas do trabalho

 

 

Formação das turmas – inscrições e busca ativa - O projeto inicia as atividades em janeiro, com oficinas de férias, momento em que já se buscam as crianças não matriculadas na escola ou com dificuldades de frequência. Nos meses de fevereiro e março, algumas escolas da região, como o Cieps Bartolomeu Campos Queiroz, Operário Vicente Mariano, Elis Regina e Samora Machel, Escola Municipal IV Centenário, encaminham as famílias para o projeto. Também é comum as próprias crianças convidarem amigos e vizinhos que estão passando por situações semelhantes. As inscrições são feitas na secretaria da Lona da Maré (Rua Ivanildo Alves s/nº, Nova Maré - 3105-6815).

 

 

 

Oficinas - Meninas e meninos fazem oficinas diárias de letramento, música e robótica, além da participação em atividades de defesa dos direitos da criança e do adolescente, eventos culturais na Maré e em outros bairros da cidade. Há ainda um lanche preparado diariamente. Com a pandemia, foram entregues os livros do Clube de Leitura no início de cada mês, e durante a campanha ‘Maré diz NÃO ao Coronavírus’ as famílias receberam cestas de alimentação.

 

 

 

Acompanhamento das famílias - Quinzenalmente, há reuniões com as famílias sobre assuntos importantes que as crianças tragam nas oficinas ou mesmo que as próprias famílias solicitem. Também são realizados encontros individuais, visitas domiciliares e encaminhamentos pela equipe social. Todo trabalho acontece na perspectiva do diálogo e da construção ativa de uma comunidade de aprendizagem trocando saberes e apoio mútuo.

 

 

 

Acompanhamento sociopedagógico - O acompanhamento da frequência e das aprendizagens das crianças acontece pelo trabalho com as famílias e os contatos com as equipes escolares, mensalmente. São encontros de sensibilização da equipe pedagógica para as potências em cada criança e família do projeto, além de troca de saberes e construção das articulações com a rede de apoio social no território.

 

 

Como o projeto tem acontecido na pandemia?

 

 

Até 2021, o Nenhum a Menos aconteceu de forma híbrida, realizando atendimentos individuais com as famílias, entrega de materiais pedagógicos para crianças, acompanhamento de situações escolares e sociais, além de atividades remotas semanais orientando a utilização dos materiais em casa. A partir de 2022, todas as atividades voltaram para o formato presencial.

 

 

Encontros virtuais foram realizados entre 2020 e 2021 com atividades de diálogo e apoio socioemocional que desafiavam realizações físicas e práticas na vida das crianças.

Visita educativa virtual ao Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (CCBB) na exposição "Linhas da vida de Chiharu Shiota", em fevereiro de 2021.

 

 

 

 

 

Dados da busca ativa do Nenhum a Menos, aplicada na pesquisa ‘Toda Menina na Escola’ com o Fundo Malala, serviram como base para auxiliar a pesquisa Covid-19 e o acesso à educação nas 16 favelas da Maré: impactos nos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental e no Ensino Médio, realizada em parceria com o Instituto Unibanco, que buscou investigar os principais impactos da pandemia de Covid-19 na educação de alunos de 13 escolas públicas localizadas na Maré, entre 2020 e 2021.

RESULTADOS ENCONTRADOS

 

• Na busca ativa escolar, foram identificados 1178 crianças e adolescentes fora da escola ou em risco de evasão escolar.

• Em relação ao segmento escolar, a grande maioria dos estudantes está cursando o 5º, 7º e 9º do Ensino Fundamental (12,5%, 14,3% e 12,2% respectivamente).

• A maioria dos estudantes cadastrados no banco da busca ativa se autodeclaram pretos ou pardos (78,9%).

• Os motivos mais presentes para a não adesão às atividades remotas oferecidas foram: falta ou dificuldade de acesso à internet, falta de dispositivo móvel, dificuldade de acessar ou realizar as atividades, família em situação de pobreza, desinteresse pelos estudos e falta de vaga em escola próxima à residência.

Na Marcha Basta de Violência, as crianças se organizam para produzir coletivamente pesquisas, músicas e apresentações, participando de processos de transformação social com opinião e arte-educação. Apresentaram as músicas o “Funk da Maré” e a paródia “Não Deixe a Maré Morrer”. Ambos os gêneros e composições surgiram espontaneamente durante as atividades.
